This is the fourth year Saskatoon will be celebrating kindness in our community by participating in the Random Act of Kindness Day. Random Act of Kindness Day will take place on November 4th.
It is a city wide celebration day of kindness promoting a ‘pay it forward’ movement in Saskatoon. It is not a fundraising activity and no solicitation occurs during this event. RAK Day is meant to be a fun and simple way to encourage unexpected moments of kindness in our community. It is one day a year where we actively encourage individuals and organizations to do something kind for someone in the community and ask nothing more than for that person to pay it forward.
There are a number of ways you can participate in RAK Day:
- Engage on social media (@RAKSaskatoon , Twitter, Instagram; #RAKyxe)
- Offer a random act of kindness and leave a “Pay it Forward” card
- Register a Kindness Crew
- Encourage friends and family to participate
- Share your story online.
RAK Day is a great initiative that we hope you are interested in joining. Can we count on you to help us share the kindness on November 4
