The Interwetten Overall Experience
There’s a big blaze of yellow that streaks its way across the top of the Interwetten website. Let’s just say that as far as color schemes go, this one caught our attention. It makes the sportsbook stand out in a big way, for sure.
From our own experience of betting at the sportsbook, we found it to be quite the entertaining and intriguing platform. You can navigate around very easily, using links along the top of the site. Meanwhile, all of the sports are listed down the left-hand side of the page, giving you very easy access to whatever you want to bet on. Truthfully enough, this is a fairly common design for online sportsbooks to use.
Sports on the left, betting slip on the right, possible wagering options down the center. It’s become quite the standard for such sites. It does make it very easy to go from one platform to another, though, we have to admit. At least if you’ve played elsewhere before, you won’t need to spend too much time adapting to the Interwetten layout.
The overall experience that we had while wagering at this sportsbook was mainly positive. The site is well-designed, there’s a ton of sports to select from for betting on, and you also get to access a good range of special offers along the way. So, to put it pretty bluntly, Interwetten is an appealing, high-quality sportsbook.

Interwetten Betting Site, Mobile Site/App
With a thoughtful design, the Interwetten betting site manages to present a wealth of information and numerous betting options in a format that is easily accessible to the user. A sidebar menu on the left provides shortcuts to popular sports betting sites features and the latest offers as well as a complete listing of all available sports, headed by the most popular types.
Each menu heading can be expanded via a dropdown arrow, allowing the user to select either an overview of the most popular current events and bets in each sport or head straight to the sought competition.
For each competition, upcoming events are shown in the center section of the page. Each is displayed with its main bet. For those wanting to look beyond the main bet, a click on the ‘+’ to the right of the main bet displays all available markets efficiently organized by type in the form of dropdowns. Website Navigation
Navigation between dropdowns to view the bets available is straightforward, and the ability to minimize individual sections is helpful in keeping an overview of all the betting options available.
Each bet can be simply selected and added to the betting slip by clicking on the desired odds button. When multiple bets are added accumulator options (on 2 bets or more) and system bets (on 3 bets or more) become available. Next to the betting slip, the My Bets tab shows the bets already placed.

Like the desktop version, the mobile site and apps are full-featured and offered in a user-friendly optimized format. Buttons are easy to select, and the dropdown design works well across a range of different screen sizes.

Where Interwetten comes into its own is the depth of the betting on offer. Particularly when it comes to football, where a match in the Bundesliga or Premier League happening in the next two days will typically have 200-300 bets or more available for selection – from the essential match bets and Over/Under betting to creative special bets, half time/full time scores/cards/corners, handicaps (inc. Asian) and time-based bets.
Other sports and less popular events tend to have fewer options, but are still well-represented and overall, there is a very good range of betting available across the board here.
Interwetten live betting & live streams
Live betting at Interwetten benefits from the same well-designed interface as pre-match betting. All events available for live betting can be viewed via the dedicated tab in the main menu. Live events are displayed with the three most popular bets by sports type, which allows a quick bet selection and serves to give at-a-glance information on the progress of a match.
The odds are updated continuously and changes are clearly marked with different colors and up/down arrows. The live betting section also has a useful Favorites feature where you can add bets to be monitored. Bet acceptance is fast, taking no more than 5 seconds as a rule.
The main focus of the live betting section is football, where a large selection of events from all countries is offered, with up to 80 bets available per match. Other sports such as tennis, ice hockey and volleyball are also very well represented, as are popular events from other sports and eSports, with around 30-40 live events usually shown at any one time.
All live streaming events at Interwetten are marked with a play icon. These are available on both desktop and mobile, including via app. Live streaming can be watched by anyone logged in with a registered Interwetten account with a positive balance. Where live streams are not available or the user is not logged in, a match animation with a live scoreboard and statistics is displayed instead. This shows each step of the match in progress and provides the main headers with all the latest important information.
Betting Odds and Payout Rates at Interwetten
As you would expect from such a popular bookmaker, you can count on good odds and consistently good payout ratios at Interwetten. When considering payout rates, it should be remembered that bookmakers retain a small margin to pay for costs and staff. The remainder is paid out in winnings. For most bookmakers, the average payout rate tends to range from 90 to 95 percent. Calculations show that at Interwetten, the payout rate is around 92 to 94 percent, depending on the sport and type of bet selected.
The odds for each bet are individually calculated and bookmakers can adjust odds to offer more competitive rates. Less popular events tend to have lower rates, whereas highly featured competitions come with higher payout rates. To calculate the payout rate at Interwetten a range of bets was selected from a number of sports, taking the odds for each outcome into account.
Our calculations show that at Interwetten on average 94 percent are paid out from winning bets in important basketball and ice hockey matches. On the main tennis bets, a higher profit margin is retained with a 93 percent payout rate. Interwetten’s dedication to football betting is reflected in the fact that the payout rate for matches in the top five football leagues is adjusted to be particularly attractive at over 95 percent on average. This also applies to live betting where rates can reach a respectable 93 percent.
