There are three main types of free sports betting that we will cover.

Free Sports Betting

Free sports betting is a safe and easy way to learn how to wager on sporting events. Many people enjoy betting on sports for real money, but some aren’t ready to make that commitment. Another option for those who either don’t have the bankroll or don’t understand sports enough is to bet on sports for free.

In this article, we are going to take a look at the types of free sports betting there are. We will also look at the places you can bet on sports for free. Finally, we’ll talk about the purpose of free sports betting and how to know you are ready to take the jump into real money sports betting.

Let’s jump right into the types of free sports betting that are available.

This site is free and gives its users a chance to win real prizes, and most important, real cash. Imagine being able to feel the excitement of watching your custom team compete against friends and others, all the while knowing that not one cent of your own money is on the line. Now the obvious question is how does sportsplays.com accomplish this?

In today’s growing market of online sports betting sites and daily sports fantasy leagues and sites; what else could be out there for the avid sports fan that likes to add a little extra suspense and fun to their favorite sports? Whether it is MLB, the NFL, the NBA, Soccer, NASCAR, Fights, or College sports, sportsplays.com has you covered.

In order to describe what sportsplays.com is, we have to first look at what separates sportsplays.com from the rest of the pack. First of all it is free to play. That’s right free. The first thing to realize is that sportsplays.com is not a gambling site. Which also makes it legal by the way.

This site is free and gives its users a chance to win real prizes, and most important, real cash. Imagine being able to feel the excitement of watching your custom team compete against friends and others, all the while knowing that not one cent of your own money is on the line. Now the obvious question is how does sportsplays.com accomplish this?

The answer is advertisers. You see, advertisers that are looking to get their names and products out to as many people as possible, and reach a certain male demographic, will put the money up for the initial bets that players will use for their particular contest. While these initial stakes will vary from contest to contest, the end result is the same; if you lose your contest, no money comes out of your own pocket: if you win your contest, you get paid out dollar for dollar.

Of course there are different levels of success in which to get paid out. But if you run out of play money, you are simply given more to attempt to reach these levels.

Also, in order to help you reach these levels, sportsplays.com offer you tools to make better pick decisions as well as strategy. With SportsPlays Expert Picks, Injury Reports, Team Records and Standings, Team Stats, Game Match-ups, and Public Consensus, sportsplays.com has a host of tools to help you become successful.

While playing and betting at sportsplays.com is totally free, right now they are offering a Free 14-Day Trial Membership to their Full Access area. During this trial period, you will be able to enjoy Full Access benefits such as:

Real Money Received for $200 Cash Out
Higher Limits
Free Access to Contests
Higher Contest Winnings
Member’s Only Contests
Removal of Annoying Ads
Detailed Pick Reports
Get Insider Info

While you can cancel at any time and go back to playing for free on the standard sportsplays.com contests, if you are satisfied with Full Access after the 14-Day Trial Offer is up, then you pay only 33-cents per day afterwards.

So sign-up today and see what all the fuss is about. Besides; what else do you have to lose?

Definitely not your money. Sportsplays offer what might just be the ultimate in cash prize competitions, while there may also be some options for placing highly popular asian handicap bets on the Euro 2016 cup.

To whet your appetite for some free sports betting, the video below offers a review of some of the great sportsplays from recent sporting seasons. For other types of free gaming it’s worth taking a look at the social alternatives. Chumba offer some great social games, as do Pureplay Poker and the new kid on the block Pokertribe.

The crave for online sports betting is at all time high. Online sportsbooks have really grown and many new sportsbooks are opening worldwide.

Online Betting Guide and Tips

Most sports investors (bettors) don’t live in Las Vegas, Atlantic City or near a casino, so online sportsbooks can be very convenient. Some sports bettors that live in Las Vegas or Atlantic City use online sportsbooks in conjunction to casino sportsbooks to place wagers. There are sports investors that make substantial profits from online sports betting and it is their primary source of income. Some sports investors make money from tailing reputable handicappers and some are handicappers who make their own plays. Although most sports bettors out there are casual bettors and bet for a hobby. Multiple Sportsbooks to increase profitability

Using multiple sportsbooks whether it be online sportsbooks and/or physical sportsbooks can help you find the best odds to place your bet. If you live in Las Vegas or Atlantic City you will have access to multiple physical sportsbooks where you can place bets. If you are sports investor that does not live in Las Vegas, Atlantic City or any city with multiple sportsbooks, you still do have many of solid online sports betting options. Some sports investors that do have the option to use physical sportsbooks in casinos sometimes would rather place online sports wagers because they might find better odds online or for the convenience.

Some of the sports bettors that place large wagers might have to place big bets in a casino’s sportsbook. There are some online sportsbooks which will take wagers of $5,000 such as 5dimes.com. Also, if the sports bettor wants to risk larger than the online sportsbook allows they can place their same bet (play) at multiple online sportsbooks.

Bankroll Management

Bankroll management is important whether you are online sports betting or betting at sportbooks located in casinos. Betting responsibly is important and you shouldn’t risk more than you are willing to lose. For your “sports investing bankroll” you should set aside an amount of money that you are comfortable playing with.

Betting Guide: Unit Size

As a rule of thumb a “unit” should be anywhere from 1% to 4% of your bankroll. A “Unit” is not any certain amount of money but it is usually designated as the sports bettor’s standard wager. Some sports bettors and handicappers will risk multiple units on certain plays.

Even if you are tailing a trusted sports handicapper on a multiple unit play it should not be over 4% of your bankroll set aside for sports gambling. If you are tailing someone who gives out multiple unit plays as their big plays you can designate a “big play” as your 4% bankroll wagered plays. For instance if a sports handicapper consults clients with 1 to 4 Unit Plays you can make the 1 Unit Plays=1% of bankroll risked, 2 Unit Plays=2% of bankroll risked etc.

Example: Say you have $10,000 set aside for your “sports betting bankroll” your average play (wager) should be $100 (1%) to $400 (4%) per play.

Note: The reason why you shouldn’t risk more than 4% or 5% of your Sports Investing Bankroll on any play (bet) is because you could have a bad day or cold streak and diminish your bankroll.

Online Betting Guide Tips: Strategy

Being disciplined and not overextending unit size are important in long term sports (betting) investing. Sports investing should be a long term strategy and you should bet smart and look for quality plays over a quantity of plays. Every sports gambler will have hot and cold streaks.

It is important not to increase your unit size significantly while you are hot. Especially if you think of the law of averages implying you are due to go on a cold streak or “cool off” per say. When you do profit and build up your bankroll it does make sense to increase your unit size slightly. If you profit and your bankroll increases you can still use the 1% to 4% per wager of your bankroll rule of thumb.

Be very weary of playing a side which has high percentages of the money on. Sometimes the oddsmakers will set a “trap” that they think will look appetizing to the general betting public. Also be aware that sometimes even if a higher percentage of bets are on one side there could be actually more money on the other side. This could be because the “sharp bettors” bet larger and are on the opposite side of what the perceived popular public play. Whether it is a team or a total if the public is all over one side, I would look to maybe fade (bet against) the public or pass on the game. I am not saying your strategy should be fading public bets, but public plays are generally weak plays.

Becoming a successful sports investor takes time, experience, expertise and patience. Finding the best odds possible by having multiple sportsbooks or online sportsbooks can give you a slight edge. Unless you are an experienced sports bettor and are confident in your plays, you might want to find a reputable professional handicapper.

SPORTFORIA™

Friday night’s double header length Los Angeles Dodgers win meant a Game 5 and another #SportsEquinox!

SPORTFORIA™ 2018 sure is finishing up with a bang!

However, tonight will be the last time you’ll be able to have 1 ticket with 1 game from all 4 major sports in a 4-teamer on the same day until 2019!

After last year’s #MinnesotaMiracle why not hop on the New Orleans Saints in the NFL (They’re also the last team for this week’s Picking Duck Sports contest) and the Las Vegas Golden Knights seemed like a no-brainer for the NHL especially if you’re talking about a holiday designed for Las Vegas, Nevada. The Boston Red Sox have been the best team in the MLB all season and the L.A. Clippers are hosting a team on a long road trip in the NBA.

It’s not only a lot of fun but pays 16-1!

If the BoSox do close it out tonight, hopefully you’ve really enjoyed the 2018 version of SPORTFORIA™, we’ll do it all again next year!

Always Be Cashing

10/26/18

You can hear the last show of SPORTFORIA™ 2018 here:

If the Los Angeles Dodgers can get back in this series they’re gonna need to win at home and only 1 W will get us a MLB World Series Game 5 and another #SportsEquinox on Sunday.

Otherwise, having all 4 sports will be done until next year.

One group that won’t be done are #ThePublic and they’re coming off one of their best weeks ever Justin Gettys was a perfect 4-0 last week. Bobby Kinslow gave out 2 ML winners while Charles from San Diego, California and Jeremy Schlosser were BOTH 2-0. We can’t forget Paolo Venetti Vratis who has hit his last 7 soccer plays.

So whether you need some #opinions for your Picking Duck Sports contest entries or you’re just heading down to Caliente Casino Race & Sports Books that whole “Callers Wanted Winners Preferred” thing seems to be working.

10/25/18

Once this year’s MLB World Series Champions is crowned SPORTFORIA™2018 will be over.

There’s a full slate of NBA games this weekend as well as 11 NHL games on Saturday alone!

The travel day for the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers means even though there’s NFL thursday night football today there’s only one more chance of having a #SportsEquinox and it would be Sunday for Game 5.

The question is, after racking up a trio of hits in Game 2, will the Southern California sunshine warm up The Blue Crew’s bats. You guys holding tickets on a Red Sox sweep are half way there!

Friday & Saturday there will be NCAA Football to fill the void and if you are lucky enough to spend some time in Caliente Casino Race & Sports Booksthere will be all 4 sports on your TVs. The only difference is those football games won’t involve guys paying taxes on their money!

Enjoy SPORTFORIA™ 2018 while it lasts and if you do make it down to Caliente Race & Sports Book give the rolled tacos a try, there’s 6 of ’em so be ready to share.

A “lottery effect” distorted the market. Fantasy sites found that new players flocked to whoever advertised the biggest prize pools (not the best odds). In order to increase their prize pools the fastest, fantasy sites had to allow players to enter more than once. (If everyone played twice, that would double the prize pool.)

How Fantasy Got in Trouble

Fantasy grew rapidly into a $1.1 billion industry mostly on advertising revenue. Then it upped the game by offering “prizes” and the market tripled. A race for market share ensued.

Wall Street traders and poker pros didn’t just play twice—assisted by computer scripts and optimization software, these high-volume sharks created as many as 1,000 lineups a day, putting over $100,000 on the line regularly. The scripts allowed them to make last-minute adjustments to their lineups to take advantage of gameday breaking news.

Officially, the odds of winning were always 50%. Finish in the top half of players and take home your share! But the reality couldn’t be more different. In MLB fantasy, 91% of the prize money was being won by only 1.3% of the players. DraftKings data showed that over 89% of players lost money.

Watching this week’s show, it’s obvious Jon and Tony have spent a lifetime talking baseball and that it’s one of the things they’ve bonded over most.
