WagerWeb Sportsbook App
WagerWeb.eu is so easy a baby could do it. Except, a baby shouldn’t do it since online gambling isn’t legal for those at that age! But you get the point. Even if you aren’t the most technologically advanced individual, you won’t have any trouble navigating through the mobile or computer app. This is a very convenient online sportsbook. You can access your account and bet on games from anywhere in the world via a computer or mobile device.
WagerWeb Sportsbook
There are thousands of online sportsbooks. But only a small percentage are trustworthy and reputable. WagerWeb is in the minority. This isn’t one of the biggest names in online gambling. In fact, many of you have probably never even heard of WagerWeb. But it’s certainly worth learning about, which is what you’ll do in this exclusive review of the WagerWeb.eu sportsbook site.
Company History and Reputation
The reputation of an online sportsbook is extremely important. If you come across a sportsbook you’re interested in joining but discover the Internet is flooded with complaints about that sportsbook, run away and don’t look back. The current WagerWeb reputation is that of a sportsbook that is continually improving, trustworthy, and offers sufficient 24/7 customer service.
WagerWeb.eu has proven its track record over the years. Their staying power proves this is a solid, popular online sportsbook. The company operates out of Costa Rica and this site has been around since the early days of the online gambling industry (1994).
Ease of Use
WagerWeb.eu is so easy a baby could do it. Except, a baby shouldn’t do it since online gambling isn’t legal for those at that age! But you get the point. Even if you aren’t the most technologically advanced individual, you won’t have any trouble navigating through the mobile or computer app. This is a very convenient online sportsbook. You can access your account and bet on games from anywhere in the world via a computer or mobile device.
Bonuses
Who doesn’t love a nice bonus? It’s difficult for us to recommend any sportsbook that doesn’t hook its players up with a decent amount of free money and/or free bets. Therefore, you can rest assured WagerWeb is bonus friendly. WagerWeb offers bonuses for recreational gamblers and high rollers. The following bonuses are available and subject to meeting rollover guidelines:
- Elite Bonus: 10% Cash (or 15% Free Play) with an 8x rollover. Also get a 1% cashback bonus based on your sportsbook betting volume paid every Monday.
- High Roller Bonus: 20% cash back (or 30% Free Play) with a 10x rollover. No sportsbook volume cashback with this bonus.
- High Bonus Special: 50% cash (or 75% free play) that has a 15x rollover. Weird term to this bonus: Your largest bet is limited to 20% of your deposit amount until you meet the 15x rollover requirement.
- Bitcoin Special: Depositing via Bitcoin pays off at WagerWeb. You will receive a 50% cash bonus (or 75% free play) on your initial deposit with a 15x rollover. On your second deposit, you will receive a 1% weekly cash back bonus if you deposit via Bitcoin.
Ease of Deposits and Payout Speed
Sports bettors tend to avoid betting sites that don’t have enough deposit and withdrawal options and take forever and a day to payout. WagerWeb.eu is one of the few websites that knocks it out of the park on both fronts. The deposit and payout processes are quick (always within 24 hours), easy, and painless.
Deposit options:
- Visa and MasterCard (credit, debit, prepaid, gift, etc.)
- Bitcoin
- Person to Person money transfer
- Money Gram
- Cashier’s Check
- Bank Wire
If you deposit with Bitcoins, contact Client Services Support via live chat or email for instructions. Credit/debit card is the quickest and easiest way to fund your WagerWeb account. The funds will be available immediately when choosing this option. The process takes just a few minutes to sign-up and make a deposit.
WagerWeb Payouts

10 days
Available as a Free Payout: Yes
You can request up to 2 check payouts per week ($6k max).
3 days
Available as a Free Payout: Yes
3 days
Available as a Free Payout: Yes
You can get your payouts sent to a credit/debit card ($6k/week max)
There is a $10,000/week limit for bitcoin payouts, which is very nice.
Payout speed depends on your withdraw option, but overall they are really pretty fast. Bank wires are only available to players in the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom. Or, if you prefer the old school paper checks they are available but are the slowest method (takes about a week).
Free Payouts?
Yes, Free Payouts are available once every 30 days! It’s really nice that bank wires are included as a free option. The odd thing is you can only request a free Wire or Money Transfer payout on Tuesdays & Wednesdays, but free check requests can be made anyday. WTF is that? Anyways this really is a free payout with no fees, not like some sportsbooks that charge you the payout fee and then refund it later.
Our Opinion of WagerWeb
You have many options when it comes to finding an online sportsbook. The industry is packed with many great sites, and some really bad ones. So where do we stand with the WagerWeb betting site? Without question, we are confident in recommending this site to you. Why? Because they have built an established positive reputation, offer a wide range of sports betting options, have a great mobile betting app, and pay winners quickly.
I just started using WagerWeb again (July 2015) after 2 years of not using them and I’m really impressed with their betting platform. I like the fact that when you hover over the lines it tells you the max bet allowed. I actually prefer their betting platform over BetOnline and 5Dimes.
The only downside to WagerWeb compared to some other top online sportsbooks is in the bonus department. It’s not that WagerWeb’s promotions are weak, but there are some better programs out there. There are so many different Wager Web bonuses that it is quite confusing. Otherwise, this is a top-notch online sportsbook and is highly recommended to casual and hardcore sports bettors.

WagerWeb takes security and safety very seriously. The same data encryption and security software standards used at major financial institutions are employed here. This includes any and all transactions and information sent through the mobile interface. Aside from safety and security, the software the company uses is updated frequently, and is always speedy and reliable.
WagerWeb Sportsbook Introduction
If you are looking for an online sportsbook with a well-rounded, world class reputation, WagerWeb is the bookmaker for you. Established in San Jose, Costa Rica in 1994, WagerWeb is a veteran in the online sports betting industry. Well-recognized by savvy sportsbook handicappers, customer service is always first and foremost on the minds of this highly regarded sportsbook. Also providing casino gambling and horse racing as well as traditional sports betting, WagerWeb delivers both English and Spanish-speaking customer service representatives. More than 100 million bets have been placed at WagerWeb, a site which offers three separate software platforms and over 200 different casino games to choose from. Of course, bonuses and promotions run high at this respected cyber bookmaker, who offers a secure and streamlined mobile experience. WagerWeb is also the proud recipient of the Offshore Gaming Association (OSGA) Elite designation as a top level Internet sportsbook, and US players are welcome. Their integration into the mobile platform has been just as stellar as their previous offerings, and they offer one of the highest quality mobile sports betting apps.
But being in service close to 30 years isn’t merely about the trust factor. It’s also about competence. WagerWeb has somehow survived this long in a crowded marketplace because they offer a quality service above everything else. If they didn’t, they’d be dead and gone like so many other bookmakers that’ve existed.

Additional features
WagerWeb’s casino has over 100 different casino games to choose from on three different software platforms. There is no poker room though, which for some is a deal-breaker.

WagerWeb has been around the industry since 1994. They are based out of Costa Rica and serve clients all around the world. All though they will serve most clients around the world, their base clientele is from the United States.
- Large rollover on bonuses
- Late line releases
Like any other offshore online sportsbook, WagerWeb offers various bonuses for deposits, new accounts and for promotional incentives. WagerWeb offers the following bonus structure for all of their players:
- Elite Bonus – With the Elite Bonus, you will receive 10% cash bonus or 15% free play bonus. This bonus has a 8x rollover that must be reached before any withdrawal can be requested. There are no betting restrictions with this bonus and you can use a cash bonus on any available wager options. You will get 1% cashback on your sportsbook volume every Monday, 5% on racebook volume on all major horse racing tracks and 5% on all of your casino loses.
- High Roller Bonus – With the High Roller Bonus, you will receive 20% cash bonus or 30% free play. This bonus has a 10x rollover that must be reached before any withdrawal can be requested. You will get 5% on racebook volume on all major horse racing tracks and 5% on all of your casino loses.
- High Bonus Special – With the High Bonus Special, you will receive a 50% cash bonus or 75% free play. This bonus has a 15x rollover that must be reached before any withdrawal can be requested. Be advised that this bonus has a 20% cap of your deposit amount for the largest wager you can place, until you meet the criteria for the rollover. You will get 5% on racebook volume on all major horse racing tracks and 5% on all of your casino loses.
Banking with WagerWeb is no different than any other offshore online sportsbook. They have many options available to you for making deposits and payouts. One of the nicest aspects of WagerWeb is most all of their banking options, both deposits and payouts, are within 24 hours.
The most popular option to make a deposit or withdraw is by using Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that has gained popularity due to its security features and little or no fees. Bitcoin has low minimum and high maximum amounts that you can make withdrawals with and best of all, as we said before there is no fee!
WagerWeb accepts your Visa and Mastercard for making a deposit. They will also accept debit cards and certain gift cards. The nice part about using a credit card or debit card to make your deposit is the fact that the funds will immediately be made available.
Money Transfers are available for both deposits and withdrawals. If you request a payout using a Money Transfer, you will be responsible for the fees, that range in price according to the amount you are requesting. Money transfers are only available to players in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Cashiers Check’s are also available for both deposits and withdrawals however we do not recommend you using this option as there are high fees associated with the withdraws. You can request 2 check payouts per week for a maximum of $6,000 per week. If you decide that you want a check mailed to you, it will cost you a $50 fee plus it will take 2-3 weeks for you to actually receive your winnings.
WagerWeb has had their issues and have somewhat of a shaky public view. A simple Google search will result many complaints of the company taking winnings from their players for various reasons and they still have the syndicate betting rule that affords them the ability to take winnings from those that they believe are “Professional Gamblers”.
WagerWeb’s social media reach is moderate. They have just over 1,000 Twitter followers and their engagement on Twitter is fair. They run a lot of sports polls but the actual amount of tweets that they post are limited. They would greatly improve their engagement by posting more frequently.
On Facebook, they have just over 800 followers and they post a decent amount of posts pertaining to sports but their engagement is very low. There are times when they go several days without any engagement and its somewhat lacking.
WagerWeb offers customer support to their clients from the hours of 10am ET until the last halftime of the final game of the evening. They are one of the only offshore online sportsbooks that I know of that do not offer 24 hour/7 days a week/365 days per year customer support.
Customer Support Agents at WagerWeb are bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. There have been times when we have contacted WagerWeb and there have been sort of a language barrier but for the most part, you are able to understand what they are saying.
You can contact customer support via Live Chat, email and telephone. To contact WagerWeb Customer Support for deposits or payouts by phone, you can call 1-800-397-4319 or 1-888-464-2387. If you wish to open a new account, you can contact them at 1-800-326-6088. If you are wanting to call in regards to bookmaking, please use one of the following numbers: 1-877-512-7095, 1-800-701-2381 or 1-855-924-3793. If you would like to fax them something, please use 1-877-848-6582. To contact WagerWeb by email, use support@wagerweb.com
WagerWeb will most likely never be one of the top offshore online sportsbook basically because of the abundance of complaints regarding their past issues but they are moving forward and progressing in ways that make us optimistic. They are not for the professional bettors but for a casual or part time gambler, they are a fine option. They offer a standard bonus structure that is generous, however they do have those large rollover requirements attached to the bonus. We do recommend them for the casual bettor as they offer decent bonuses that allow you to bet more often and have fun betting on your favorite sport.
Every Monday, the online gaming provider helps you win back your money by returning a percentage of your total action (win or lose) with a five-per-cent casino cash back. The money is credited to members as cash and there is no rollover requirement. Money wagered with live dealers do not count towards the promotion.
Customer Service Options
If members run into a problem or have a question, they can reach out to WagerWeb customer support in English or Spanish using one of the following options:
- Telephone: 1-800-397-4319 or 1-800-326-6088 for new accounts
- Fax: 1-877-464-2387
- Email: [email protected]
- Live chat: For real money accounts only
Assistance is not offered 24 hours a day, which is a drawback compared to other top-ranked sites.
Hours of operation for customer service are daily from 10 a.m. to the last halftime of the final game of the day. A backup number for customer support is 1-855-725-3783.
WagerWeb almost forces customers to call or live chat for support since it doesn’t offer a frequently asked questions page.
They do, however, have multiple 1-800 numbers under the “Contact Us” tab for help with deposits, payouts, and bookmaking.
WagerWeb provides gamblers with a wide variety of sports with some attractive betting lines. You will find the top sports that Americans love to bet on like NFL betting, NBA, MLB, and NHL as well as college football and basketball.
There’s also soccer wagering offered on the elite leagues around the world, such as MLS, EPL, and Champions League. The list of sports continues with eSports, cricket, tennis, UFC and boxing, motorsports, golf, rugby and niche sports like handball, volleyball, cycling, and darts on top of local and international events.
Like the majority of online sportsbooks, WagerWeb gives you the common straight bets like the money line, point spread, over-under totals, and futures. But the odds and risk factor increase with teasers, pleasers, if-bets, reverses, round-robins, and parlays. Additionally, live betting is available for those wanting to wager on games while they’re in progress.
The sportsbook has nightly team and player propositions for each NBA and NHL game and a lengthy list for NFL action. These options extend to college basketball during March Madness.
Some other features of the sportsbook include the choice to buy and sell up to five points and 50 or more live betting markets per game.
The minimum wagering limits at WagerWeb is $2 for sports and horses for online betting and $25 for sports and $5 for horses with phone wagering.
The WagerWeb Racebook takes players into the world of horse racing with everything from the daily claiming ranks to the top stake races like the Breeders Cup and Triple Crown races. Members can wager on American thoroughbred racing, harness racing, and greyhound racing, Canadian thoroughbred racing, Australian thoroughbred racing, and U.K. thoroughbred racing.
Wagering options on these races include: win, place, show, exacta, trifecta, superfecta, daily double, pick 3, and other exotic selections.
WagerWeb has a separate tab and section for live betting, where the odds on the money line, point spread and over-under totals change as the game unfolds.
Just because a team was a huge favorite before the start of the match doesn’t mean a thing on the odds board if the underdog scores a touchdown or two. The betting lines change by the minute until the game ends. But be prepared as the odds action is fast and furious. The excitement keeps fans on the edge of their seats and gamblers clicking away online on straight bets only.
Also called in-play or in-running wagering, your welcome bonus cannot be used for live betting at WagerWeb.
WagerWeb is missing a few staples to make this a complete sportsbook and Las Vegas casino experience. The gaming platform does not currently have a poker room.
If you’re looking for a poker tournament setting or just a daily game of Texas Hold’em, you should search for another site. You can’t go all-in here.
Click on the “Casino” tab at the top of the WagerWeb home page and select your favorite game. The casino consists of table games, slot machines, video poker, specialty games, and a live casino.
Powered by BetSoft and DGS software, WagerWeb’s online casino is sure to provide hours of fun and entertainment. It’s just like playing at the famous Las Vegas resort Bellagio, minus the room being filled with cigarette smoke and the exploding water show out front.
Every Monday, the online gaming provider helps you win back your money by returning a percentage of your total action (win or lose) with a five-per-cent casino cash back. The money is credited to members as cash and there is no rollover requirement. Money wagered with live dealers do not count towards the promotion.
Where are the doors to the Casino at WagerWeb? Click on the main heading at the top of the home page and scroll through the many gaming options.
This gaming area is instant play, which requires no download. One nice feature for newcomers is the fact you can play the site’s casino games for free before you decide to put real money on the line.
Players will find more than 20 video poker titles and 50 slot names, including featured games Black Gold, Fruit Zen, and the Exterminator.
Play blackjack, roulette, Super 6, and baccarat in WagerWeb’s live casino. The room is open around the clock, but some reviewers complain of not enough dealers, or tables filling up too quickly.
Another complaint is the betting minimum for blackjack, which is $10 and much higher than the $1 minimum on the other games.
Members do have the option of previewing the tables before joining to select the right dealer or desired seat.
These video competitions in games such as CounterStrike, Dota 2, and League of Legends are big business with betting fans. So, it’s no surprise that you will find eSports odds on top local and international events at WagerWeb.
The eSports phenomenon really took off in 2013 when leagues started gaining television rights and major sponsorship. Online gaming sites were close behind offering odds on the money line and prop bets for gamblers of all ages. Other eSports bets available at WagerWeb now include futures, point spreads, and live betting.
The multi-player online battle arena really made the sport take off. In fact, League of Legends is so big that professional sports franchises are buying and investing in LOL teams. Online gaming sites are expanding betting platforms all the time to keep pace with one of the hottest trends in sports betting today.
WagerWeb doesn’t pepper members with as many bonuses and promotions as some of the other big-name offshore sites, but it has its fair share to keep players interested.
The online sportsbook offers the following bonus structure for all of their players:
- Elite bonus: Qualified members will receive a 10-per-cent cash bonus or 15-per-cent free play bonus. This offer has an 8x rollover requirement that must be reached before any withdrawal can be requested. There are no betting restrictions with this bonus and you can use a cash bonus on any available wager options.
- High roller bonus: Members will receive a 20-per-cent cash bonus or 30-per-cent free play. This bonus has a 10x rollover requirement that must be reached before any withdrawal can be requested.
- High bonus special: Members will receive a 50-per-cent cash bonus or 75-per-cent free play. This bonus has a 15x rollover that must be reached before any withdrawal can be requested. This offer has a 20-per-cent cap of your deposit amount for the largest wager you can place until you meet the criteria for the rollover.
- Free 10th deposit: Make nine deposits in a row without requesting a withdrawal and you will get the 10th one free. Your deposit amount will be the average of the last nine deposits.
Choose your favourite sport. I chose Upcoming, which is also a nice option to have!
Unique betting interface
WagerWeb has a different interface than most sports betting sites. And i really like it!
Some of the benefits here are the variety of bets within each match. Once you click on the match, you then can choose to bet moneyline, spread, or over/under. It’s nice to have them all right there.
Also, here the first step is to choose live, straight, or parlay betting. In most places the first step is choosing the sport. The most common bet type is “straight,” which is a simple, single bet.
Let’s go through the process of this unique betting process.
Placing a Bet Screenshots 1/4
From the homepage, select Straight Bets.
Placing a Bet Screenshots 2/4
Choose your favourite sport. I chose Upcoming, which is also a nice option to have!
Placing a Bet Screenshots 3/4
Select the match you want to wager on. This opens a menu, where you can choose the bet type you want. Click Add to Bet Slip.
Placing a Bet Screenshots 4/4
In the top right corner, click on your bet slip, enter your risk, and submit your bet.
The most popular leagues to bet on include NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and UFC.
NBA lines and futures
At WagerWeb you can place lots of NBA bets: lines, spreads, and over/unders on regular season and playoff matches. You can also place futures bets on championship games throughout the year.
Basketball betting goes beyond the NBA to include international and Israeli leagues.
US Open and other tennis bets
Well before the US Open rolls around, you will have futures, and then when the match is finally upon us, you will be able to place lines and spreads as well.
But you don’t have to wait for this one match. WagerWeb has tennis betting from around the world. All the European leagues have their own sections with multiple bets in each.
Plenty of football bets
WagerWeb has great NFL wagers. They take this popular sport very seriously. And they have the odds organized in a unique way.
You can sort by NFL futures, NFL wins (lines), and NFL (general). This sportsbook starts to stand out in their NFL fantasy props section. You won’t find this everywhere and is a great source of unique bets.
Baseball betting trots the globe
The MLB features prominently in the baseball section of WagerWeb’s sportsbook. In fact, you can check out their regular season odds, as well as their futures.
But they don’t stop there. You can also bet on baseball from around the world. So if Taiwanese of Japanese baseball is your thing, WagerWeb even has you covered!
Mainly US-focused
At WagerWeb you can bet on politics. The selection is not huge, but if you are looking for occasional dabbling in political betting, you have options here!
Huge eSports markets
WagerWeb covers a lot of eSports markets. Their collection here is very large, one of the best of any sportsbook. Right now these are all money lines.
They cover more games than almost any other sportsbook:
- Dota2
- League of Legends
- Arena of Valor
- Call of Duty
- International
- King of Glory
- Rainbow Six
- Starcraft
- eHockey
- World of Warcraft
Virtual Sports Betting
Not available at the moment
Virtual sports are simulations of matches. Without any match actually taking place, sports betting sites collect and process statistics to see who would win as if they actually played.
This is a fun way to bet when matches are not up and running. However, WagerWeb does not offer any virtual sports betting.
More Betting Options
WagerWeb Racebook
WagerWeb mainly focuses on sports betting, but they do offer other options. Here you can play casino games, bet on horse races, and wager on the entertainment industry.
Free-play online casino
The casino has free play or wagering play. So you can practice before risking anything.
The casino focuses heavily on slots, with a decent selection of live dealer tables.
They have an entire section with live dealers. Here you can play blackjack, baccarat, and roulette live. Having a live dealer offers an extra level of excitement and intimacy.
Video poker focus
WagerWeb does offer its share of video poker. They were hard to identify on the mobile device. Look for All American, Deuces Wild, Double Bonus or Split-Way Royal.
Mobile live betting
Live betting at WagerWeb is smart. Their innovative approach here really makes their tech-savvy strategy apparent.
Their live betting section is designed specifically for mobile users. This is genius!
After all, live betting lines need to be accessible at all times, wherever we happen to be. Because live betting is all about being in the midst of the excitement as it happens, it is important that they have this smooth interface for on-the.go bettors.
WagerWeb’s Specialty
Parlay betting at WagerWeb works a little bit differently. The first step is selecting parlay, where most sites have you choose your wagers first.
Keep in mind that you can make parlays here only in the major sports. Also, any one team can appear only three times in a single parlay.
Parlays are high risk, high reward bets. By folding multiple bets into one, even if they are individually “safe” bets, they become worth a lot more when combined.
Some sportsbooks have fun parlays like ifs and reverse. I do not see any of that here.
Parlay Betting Screenshots 1/4
From the home screen, select Parlay.
Parlay Betting Screenshots 2/4
Choose your sport. Remember, only major sports can be folded into parlays.
Parlay Betting Screenshots 3/4
Choose the wagers you want to fold into your parlay and add them to your bet slip. These can come from a variety of sports and leagues.
Parlay Betting Screenshots 4/4
Go to your bet slip in the upper right. Enter your risk and submit your parlay.
Email and Phone
Your best option for contacting customer service at WagerWeb is via email. who have a great track record. They have always responded to my questions within a few hours.
They have lots of phone numbers. It is nice that they have so many lines, so the wait times have always been short for me.
While a live chat would be nice, these other options work so well, I have nothing to complain about. They seem to have invested heavily in these options, instead of live chat.
- Email: csd@wagerweb.com
- Deposit and Payout phone numbers: 1-800-397-4319 & 1-888-464-2387
- Bookmaking phone numbers: 1-877-512-7095 & 1-800-701-2381 & 1-855-924-3793
Not much
WagerWeb does not offer any auxiliary resources, such as betting guides, news, or a blog.
Just the right amount
WagerWeb sends you an initial email with your account ID and your password. This email also includes basic information about bonuses and markets.
After that, they send a monthly newsletter with updates to the site and reminders of their best offers.
Not available at WagerWeb
WagerWeb does not have any live streaming. If you want to watch a game while live betting, you’ll have to find another place to watch while betting here.
Easy to connect
Virtual private networks, or VPN’s, redirect your internet, so that it appears that you are connecting from elsewhere. It can be helpful for sites that restrict access from certain states or countries.
This is great for anyone on vacation who is traveling but wants to access their account.
WagerWeb is not strict about where it accepts customers from. So this probably won’t be a problem.
Just in case, I have, however, been able to connect to WagerWeb through ProtonVPN. It’s free and easy to set up an account. Once it’s running, you can connect to your account.
